We were at an Engagement party in Stockport, on Saturday, it was the daughter of a friend. I was so surprised when I got a tap on my shoulder and turned round to see a handsome young man with a goatee towering over me. "Maxine" he said, I looked up at him, he said "I'm Karen and Martin's Son, John. Well I didn't need a sirname I was amazed it was like i had been thrown back 30 something years. John isthe double of his dad, you couldn't mistake him at all.. I haven't seen John since he was about 15 years old so I said "How do you know me?" and he replied "Oh I know you Maxine I remember you."
There were three more people at that party that I haven't seen in over 30 years, I couldn't tell you who they were and yet they all remembered me. I don't know how, but after reading an email I received today I can hazard a very, very good guess!!
