There was a knock on the front door and I opened it to see my next door neighbour standing there, he had come to tell me he had driven his car into mine..... Not many would do that would they?

here was a knock on the door on Sunday evening, when I opened up my next door neighbour from number 5 was standing there which was unusual as we usually tlk over the wall.  He said to me " I have hit your car".  My immediate thought was "Oh no, i don't want to look".  But I did look and the damage to 'Babe' (the car) was not so bad, but it did look unsightly.  Then Mr number 5 said, "I have a friend with a garage he can fix it".  Well i was a bit dubious until Mr number 5 said he would take me to see his friend.  It turned out the friend has a well established garage and i needn't have worried.

So yesterday morning I dropped off 'Babe' in the morning and she was as good as new when I collected her later in the evening.  I was so impressed with the job that I am taking her in next month to have her stripes stripped off and painted on for a very reasonable price and I know the job will be perfect. 


 Thanks to my honest neighbour I have now found a new garage to take my car and my faith in people has been reinforced.
